Blind Spot Detection(BSD)
A BSD is a safety technology that monitors areas around a vehicle that are difficult for drivers to see, known as "blind spots." Using sensors, cameras, or radar, BSD detects other vehicles or objects in these zones—typically along the sides and rear of the vehicle. When a vehicle is in the blind spot, the system alerts the driver with visual indicators (often on side mirrors) or audible alerts, helping to prevent accidents during lane changes or merging. Some advanced systems may also provide tactile warnings, like vibrations, to increase driver awareness.
