Pedestrian Collision Warning(PCW)+Vehicle Detection
A PCW is a safety system designed to prevent or reduce collisions with pedestrians. Using sensors, cameras, or radar, PCW detects pedestrians in or near the vehicle's path and assesses the risk of a collision. If a pedestrian is detected and a collision seems imminent, the system issues alerts to the driver—usually through visual, audible, or vibrating warnings—to prompt immediate action. Some PCW systems are integrated with automatic emergency braking (AEB) to further enhance protection by automatically applying the brakes if the driver doesn’t respond in time.
