Lane Departure Warning System(LDWS)

A LDWS is a safety feature that helps prevent unintentional lane drifting. It uses cameras or sensors to monitor the vehicle's position within the lane markings. If the system detects that the vehicle is moving out of its lane without a turn signal or driver intention, it alerts the driver with visual, audible, or haptic warnings, like steering wheel or seat vibrations. This allows the driver to correct the course and stay within the lane, reducing the risk of side-swipe or road departure accidents. LDWS is commonly found in modern vehicles to enhance roadway safety.
